Intel withdraws from the production of 16 Xeon processors

The company Intel has launched a program to withdraw a number of processors for servers and workstations, as she reported in at number PCN 108890-00, published on its official website. Under the program got dual-core chips Intel Xeon (Woodcrest) and Quad-model Intel Xeon (Clovertown).
As noted, orders for these processors will be accepted up until 23 April 2009. Last shipment - 23 July 2009. From 23 January next year, orders are not subject to cancellation. All models listed in the list of suicide, see below.
