Filed Under News Technology, Software & Tools
The main purpose of this program - to change the image format on video. The main image formats that are used today - 4:3 (the so-called LetterBox) and 16:9 widescreen. When launched on large-screen video in the usual format looks somewhat differently than we are accustomed to see it - all pieces are incredibly thick. If, conversely, run the video in 4:3 format on a large screen, subjects will become thinner. This is because the disparity ratios sides of images in different formats.
River Past Video Perspective provides an opportunity to change the format of video images. When converting large video in the usual pictures will be cut off edges, but when converting video format LetterBox in 16:9 format - at the edges, in contrast, will be added black bands. This version adds the opportunity to work with formats MKV and OGG Media OGM.
